Growing up in South Texas, I always had a dream that I’d become a rodeo star. We had 28 acres and, while I raised hogs for 4H livestock shows, and we leased our land for cattle, we never really had a farm or ranch ourselves. I really wanted to ride bulls, but it just never came to fruition. During a recent trip to Montana, I took the family to a rodeo on our last night in Bozeman. We had a great time and ever since, we’ve been on a rodeo binge. We’re watching PBR every weekend and I actively seek out rodeos in our area. This gallery will hopefully capture some of the fun and excitement and encourage you to seek out some rodeo events where you live.
